In fulfilling our clearing house and coordination role, we deliver training for the benefit of the legal profession, law students, community legal centre lawyers, volunteer lawyers, community organisations and the public. We aim to alert practitioners to emerging issues, and maximise scant resources available in the sector using innovative platforms.

| Training in pro bono development | |
QPILCH can assist law firms without an established pro bono scheme in developing a program that suits their needs. We can also deliver seminars to inform new staff members or keep experienced staff apprised of pro bono issues for firms with established pro bono practices.
Some governments require law firms contracting with it and its agencies to undertake a percentage of their government income in the form of pro bono work.
QPILCH can assist the capacity and effectiveness of firms to undertake pro bono policy development and work.
Contact QPILCH on 3846 6317 or email on the address below if you are interested.

| Training for not for profit organisations | |
Not-for-profit organisations are often at the front line in providing information and support to the community.
QPILCH is partnering with experts to deliver informative seminars addressing legal health issues of not-for-profit organisations. By enhancing governance and improving procedures, not-for-profit organisations can improve community services.
This high quality legal information will be delivered in an interactive way by expert barristers and solicitors from member law firms at low cost to your organisation.
Your participation will alert you and your organisation to issues which are important for its legal “health”.
In conjunction with our expert presenters you will be able to assess whether you require additional legal information or advice, available in subsequent seminars or directly through QPILCH and its member law firms at no cost.
Click here for all future training events for not for profits.
